  Computational and experimental Turbulence: An International Masters program in France
An International Masters program in France (fully taught in english!) This 2 years Masters program is designed to introduce students to both the science and the art of turbulence at an early point of their studies. This knowledge can be applied immediatly to a large number of disciplines where turbulence occurs. Directors of the program are Michel Stanislas and Laurent Emmanuel Brizzi. Faculty includes William K. George, Jean Paul Bonnet, Pierre Comte, Jacques Borée, Tom Gatski, Bernd Noack... The first two semesters take place in Ecole Centrale de Lille (north of Paris). The third semester is in Poitiers and the last semester is devoted to a Master thesis in industry or in a research laboratory.

  Fluid Mechanics and Heat Transfer Graduate Program at the University of Iowa
The University of Iowa offers active graduate programs in fluid mechanics and heat transfer within its Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering. The faculty include Profs. Christoph Beckermann, Barry Butler, L.D. Chen, Ching-Long Lin, Jeff Marshall, V.C. Patel, Fred Stern, and H.S. Udaykumar. Active research areas include fuel cells, combustion, materials processing and solidification, biofluid mechanics, atmospheric boundary-layer flow, vortex dynamics, fluid- structure interaction, ship hydrodynamics, computational methods for multiphase flow, non-equilibrium turbulent flows, and thin film flows. The Department of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign offers M.S. and Ph.D. programs in mechanics, including fluid mechanics. The faculty in fluids includes Ronald Adrian, Hassan Aref, S. Balachandar, Jonathan Freund, Robert Moser, Daniel Riahi, Mark Short, and Scott Stewart, in addition to associated faculty in other departments. Theoretical, experimental, and computational research is conducted in such areas as aeroacoustics, boundary layers, chaos, combustion, compressible flow, convection, energetic materials, flow instability, foams, geophysics, microfluidics, multiphase and particulate flows, nonlinear waves, turbulence, and vortex dynamics.   Graduate Program In Thermal/Fluid Sciences at the University of Wyoming
The graduate program in the thermal/fluid sciences at UW includes research in the areas of aerodynamics, turbulence, flow control, instrumentation development, geophysical flows, convective heat transfer, wind and solar energy, and vortical flows. Many of the research areas are interdisciplinary involving collaborations between researchers in areas such as applied mathematics, smart materials, and control theory. Research is supported by several federal and state agencies including the Air Force, NASA, the National Science Foundation, and the Department of Energy's National Renewable Energy Laboratory. Research and teaching assistantships are available for qualified students.

  UTC Computational Engineering Graduate Program
UTC offers an innovative multidisciplinary program in Computational Engineering, with outstanding facilities and a unique educational environment in which students can participate in multidisciplinary team research at the UTC SimCenter, with opportunities for interactions with multiple researchers. Each student’s program of study is individually tailored to his or her educational background, research interests, and career goals. Programs of study include course work in three core areas of computational engineering: 1) an engineering application area, 2) scientific supercomputing, and 3) mathematics of computation. Some example courses include Grid Generation, Grid Adaptation, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Computational Design, Introduction to Parallel Algorithms, Parallel Scientific Supercomputing, Viscous Flow Computation, Numerical Analysis, and Numerical Solution of Partial Differential Equations.
