It is with great sadness that we share with you the news that Dr. George
Carrier died on Friday March 8, 2002. George was diagnosed with Esophagus
Cancer in mid December 2001 and has been fighting the disease ever
since. George was one of the original Associate Editors of JFM,
beginning with Volume 1, part 1 in May 1956.
